Why these four, specifically
Each closes a real gap between what the board already shows and what a full lifecycle needs to answer.
Depreciation & Capital Accounting
ERP holds the ledger, but nothing on the board carries book value, useful life, or GASB 34 / ASC 360 disposal accounting. Without it, FAHA's condition findings and the ERP's dollar figures describe the same asset without ever agreeing on what it's worth today.
Capital Planning / CIP
Depreciation looks backward at what an asset cost; a Capital Improvement Plan looks forward, turning FAHA's risk and maturity findings into a funded, sequenced list of what actually gets replaced and when.
Warranty & O&M Records
The Architect/CAD/BIM close-out package — manuals, warranties, commissioning reports — has nowhere to live once construction ends. Without it, FAHA can't confirm whether a failing asset is still under coverage before recommending a capital spend.
OT / Cybersecurity Trust Boundary
CNS/CP establishes and governs the connection relationship between independently operated parties. It does not govern device trust or establish local execution authority. The RFID tags, BAS controllers and IoT sensors on the operational network underneath sit inside that boundary, where the protocols do the binding and CNS/CP adds nothing — that's the domain IEC 62443 already calls zones and conduits, so nobody should expect a Connection Profile to reach a sensor.
